The Burlington Royals have extended their player development contract with the Royals to 2020. I still have the personal opinion that the Royals should consider only having one team between the Appalachian League and Pioneer League. The Idaho Falls contract ends after this season, but they haven’t thought the same way as me in the past, so we’ll see what happens.
