Today, I went to the Mychal Givens signing at the Orioles Store at the York Galleria Mall. It had a smaller turnout than the Dylan Bundy event last month, but there were still over two hundred people there. Given that it was in the middle of the day on a Tuesday, I think that’s pretty good. Givens is also an interesting story since he was drafted as an infielder, but then converter to a relief pitcher. And one fact you probably didn’t know, he set a record by having the most consecutive wins to start a career without having one as a starter with 7.
