The Las Vegas 51s have extended their player development contract with the Mets to 2018. There are now 4 teams that have their PDCs end this season at the AAA level. So right now, it doesn’t look there will be any changes at the AAA level. I know that Mets and Brewers fans aren’t very happy with their current AAA affiliates, but it looks like the rest of the league is pleased with their situations, so there may not be much of an opportunity to make a change. The one possibility would be if the Colorado Springs franchise is moved to San Antonio, as this would open up Fresno and the Mets and Brewers could battle over that location since neither prefer Las Vegas as an option.
