The Lansing Lugnuts have extended their player development contract with the Blue Jays to 2014. If the Blue Jays can’t have a minor league affiliate in Canada, having one in Michigan isn’t that bad of an option.
For Low A, currently there are 19 of 30 PDCs that expire at the end of 2012. I’m surprised that the number is still so high this late in the season, but many will be renewed.
